Justin R. Bailey, MD, PhD Associate Professor of Medicine
Dr. Bailey earned M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine through the Medical Scientist Training Program. He earned his Ph.D. in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Siliciano, where he studied the role of the immune response in control of HIV infection. He subsequently completed Internal Medicine residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, and then returned to Johns Hopkins for fellowship training in Infectious Diseases, joining the faculty in 2013.
Dr. Bailey is a faculty member in the Immunology and Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM) graduate programs in the JHU School of Medicine, and in the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology (MMI) graduate program in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His laboratory studies antiviral B cells and neutralizing antibodies.
